About All Things Science
All Things Science delivers hands-on STEM education to elementary and middle school students across Southern California. Our after-school programs emphasize real-world, project-based learning in exciting topics like robotics, rocketry, biology, chemistry, and 3D printing.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a Lead After-School Instructor to teach engaging STEM classes to students in Laguna Hills and nearby areas. If you love working with kids and want to help make science fun, interactive, and meaningful, this role is a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Lead hands-on, structured STEM classes for K–8 students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Use provided curriculum to guide experiments and group learning
- Be available weekday afternoons (most shifts begin around 1:00 PM)
- Commute to school sites throughout the Laguna Hills area
What You’ll Need
- A passion for education, science, and working with youth
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Experience working with children (tutoring, camps, classrooms, etc.)
- Interest in STEM education or youth development
- Dependable, enthusiastic, and eager to grow in a leadership role
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $40.00–$50.00
