- Receive cargo from customers in acceptable condition.
- Evaluate cargo using TSA approved screening method(s) and follow procedures for suspected dangerous shipments.
- Complete dangerous goods shipments in a safe and accurate manner, complying with procedures and regulatory guidelines (i.e. 49CFR, IATA, OSHA)
- Process cargo in accordance with airline policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment free from trip hazards and other unsafe conditions.
- Communicate cargo availability to ground crew or other responsible party.
- Distribute cargo to customers on in-bound flights in accordance with airline policies and procedures.
- Confer with customers, supervisors, contractors, and other staff to exchange information and to resolve problems.
- Ensure all governmental regulations, company procedures, and safety and security requirements are followed.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including trucks, forklifts, conveyors and baggage tugs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by a member of management.
