Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and technical skills.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, valves, or filters
- Weld, solder, or braze components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Proficient in welding, soldering, and brazing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members
