Overview
We are seeking a skilled Albañil (Mason) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to construct, repair, and maintain structures made of brick, stone, and concrete. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards on the job site.
Duties
- Construct walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry projects.
- Mix mortar and other materials as needed for various construction tasks.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Repair and maintain existing masonry structures by replacing damaged materials.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Albañil or similar role in masonry work.
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with safety practices in construction environments.
