Overview
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various subjects, including SOCIAL STUDIES, WORLD HISTORY , US HISTORY & HUMAN GEOFRAPHY., and possess the ability to guide students through their test preparation journey. Responsibilities
- Provide TO A SMALL GROUP tutoring sessions focused on standardized test preparation, IN SOCIAL STUDIES BOTH HONORS AND AP COURSES IN US HISTORY, WORLD HISTORY AND HUMAN GEOGRAPHY..
- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to SMALL GROUP needs and learning styles..
- Mentor students in study skills and test-taking strategies to boost their confidence and performance.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to track student progress and adjust tutoring methods as necessary.
- Stay current with educational trends and learning technologies to enhance tutoring effectiveness.
Skills
- Proficient in SOCIAL STUDIES, WORLD HISTORY, AP US HISTORY AND AP HUMAN GEOGRAPHY.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents.
- Experience working with children in various educational settings (private school experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom experience.
- Knowledge of academic advising principles and special education strategies.
- Ability to apply educational standards such as AP style and the Chicago Manual of Style in tutoring sessions.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
