Job description
We are currently seeking an outstanding Apartment Community Manager to manage our 120 unit apartment community and to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a community manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential communities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard and providing exceptional service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
· Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
· Manage and oversee the maintenance, repairs, and renovations of the community's physical assets, including buildings, grounds, and amenities.
· Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including advertising, screening potential residents, preparing leases, and coordinating move-ins.
· Collect rent and other fees from residents, and handle any collections issues that arise.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the community is operating effectively and efficiently.
· Renew leases and work to retain existing residents.
· Manage the community's budget and financial performance, including rent collection, expense management, and reporting.
· Develop and implement resident retention programs to ensure residents are satisfied and engaged with the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, property management, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in residential property management, with a proven track record of success.
- Expertise in leasing, collections, and renewals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to residential property management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
