Job Description
Job Title: Screen Print Operator
Reports To: Department Supervisor
Job Location: On-Site Grandview, MO
Job Details: Full Time, Non-Exempt,40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented screen printer with an eye for detail. As our screen printer, you will be responsible for quality, performance, and cleanliness. To ensure success as a screen printer, you must be able to stand for long hours, be comfortable with manual labor, and have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure performance meets the high-quality print standard in accordance with company expectations.
· Operation of automatic screen-printing press throughout entire screen-printing process.
· Operation of several presses with different size and color capacities.
· Setup and print different types of jobs.
· Loading garments on to the press with consistency that meets performance expectations.
· Adjustment of squeegee pressure and angle.
· Execute corrections to avoid expensive loss of product.
· Verification that the print ticket, warehouse ticket, and garments are correct.
· Verification of location and placement match ticket and artwork copy.
· Verification with the art number that the correct screens are being used.
· Perform all duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1-year previous screen printing experience.
· MHM experience is a plus.
· Visual ability for details at 20 inches or less, 20 feet or more and identifying colors.
· Strong fine motor skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks to ensure high-quality output.
- Strong communication skills to express issues and collaborate effectively.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Willingness to learn and cross-train for various job responsibilities.
· Flexibility to work overtime when needed to meet business demands.
· Physical ability and stamina for repetitive standing, reaching, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stacking for entire shift.
· Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. throughout the shift.
