Appliances 4 Less is a locally owned and operated appliance store located conveniently on Hwy 501 between Conway and CCU. The Role: We are looking for a customer-focused Appliance Sales Associate to assist clients in selecting the perfect home appliances. This role is crucial for delivering an excellent shopping experience, from initial greeting to post-sale support. While existing in-depth appliance knowledge is a plus, it is not required, as we offer training. What's essential is a strong background in retail sales, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to client engagement, including social media interaction.
Position Type: This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time candidates. Store Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM | Saturdays 9 AM-4 PM | Closed Sundays
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Sales: Proactively greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the selection of high-quality home appliances in a friendly, no-pressure manner.
- Transaction Management: Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and credit card machine to process sales, issue receipts, and handle refunds.
- Digital Engagement: Respond promptly to customer messages and emails, including inquiries received via Facebook and other social platforms. Assist with creating and renewing engaging social media posts about products and promotions.
- Merchandising & Inventory: Maintain attractive and organized in-store merchandising displays and assist with stocking and inventory management.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain solid product knowledge of appliances to best assist customers with their selections (training provided).

Qualifications:
- Retail Sales Experience: Proven experience in a retail sales environment, including operating a cash register and credit card machine.
- Customer Focus: A positive attitude and strong communication skills with a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using automated software for invoicing and capable of engaging with customers via social media messaging and posting (e.g., Facebook, Google).
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Team Player: Willingness to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable with light physical work, including lifting and moving appliances or stock as needed.
- Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays as required by store hours.
- Reliable Transportation: Ability to reliably commute to our store location.
