Applied AI Analyst
Job description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Applied AI Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Evaluating and validating applied artificial intelligence models and machine learning pipelines to ensure technical performance and accuracy.
- Analyzing complex data sets to identify actionable insights, patterns, and trends supporting customer mission requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, data engineers, and stakeholders to define operational requirements and analytical workflows.
- Monitoring, testing, and documenting system performance across deployed AI models and analytical platforms.
- Maintaining baseline configurations, test documentation, and data artifact libraries for artificial intelligence capabilities.
- Recommending and implementing continuous process and methodology improvements to optimize analytic workflows.
MinimumQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics or AI roles.
- OR a master’s degree and 3+ or more years of relevant experience
- OR a PhD and 1+ or more years of relevant experience
- OR an associate’s degree and 7+ or more years of relevant experience
- OR a high school diploma and 9+ or more years of relevant experience
- Proven experience analyzing, testing, and evaluating applied AI/ML models or automated decision-support solutions. Proficiency in data manipulation and analytical programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation and analytical findings. Strong understanding of data visualization, quality assurance, and workflow integration for complex datasets.
PreferredQualifications
- Relevant industry certifications in artificial intelligence, data analytics, or cloud architecture.
- Prior experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense enterprise data environments.
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or automated workflow orchestration platforms.
- Experience working in collaborative DevSecOps or MLOps environments.

- Must hold a current/active secret security clearance.

Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
