Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice/helper/laborer to join our team in a dynamic work environment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical and construction fields. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for success in the industry.
Duties
- Assist skilled electrician,plumber, HVAC tech in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical plumbing and heating systems.
- Learn to read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively .
- Participate in high voltage and low voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support construction site activities, including frame carpentry tasks as needed.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter to ensure proper functioning of electrical components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction and electrical work.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems is a plus.
- Experience or coursework related to commercial electrician, plumbing and havc duties is beneficial.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
