Clearance - Baseline Required
Rate - $67 - $74 Per Hour
Our federal client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Records Manager to join our Corporate Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening information management practices across a national organisation, ensuring information remains secure, accessible, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities
- Leading and delivering projects to improve information management practices.
- Maintaining and enhancing the organisation's Information Asset Register.
- Providing expert advice on recordkeeping obligations and best practice.
- Supporting information governance by clarifying roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
- Reviewing and improving records security protocols and practices.
- Managing record sentencing and disposal activities in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with privacy and information management obligations.
- Maintaining system access controls and supporting mandatory reporting activities.
- Developing and delivering training, guidance, and communication materials to build organisational capability.
- Preparing briefs, policies, procedures, and other documentation relating to records and information management.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation and contributing to broader corporate services initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in Information Management, Records Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of records management principles, legislation, and best practice.
- Experience using electronic document and records management systems, such as TRIM/Content Manager, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to build productive working relationships across a range of business areas.
- Sound judgement, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality customer service.
