Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong presence, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide assistance during incidents requiring conflict management or de-escalation techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and any actions taken.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain proficiency in CPR and First Aid to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Proficient in surveillance methods and the operation of CCTV equipment.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining a secure environment.
