We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. In this crucial role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff and public. Your presence and professionalism will play a key part in protecting property and ensuring peace of mind.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe behavior
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activity
- Maintain a visible, professional presence while deterring unauthorized access
- Complete accurate and timely incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid New York State Armed Guard License
- Prior security experience preferred
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and act in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and resolve disputes effectively
