Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, demonstrating exceptional skills in conflict management and surveillance. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security at assigned locations, ensuring the protection of personnel and property.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV systems to oversee premises and respond promptly to any incidents.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
- Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
- Conduct thorough surveillance to identify any theft or loss prevention issues.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, maintaining professional relationships with community partners.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while remaining vigilant and proactive in protecting assets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV operations and surveillance techniques is essential.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective reporting and interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
