Currently seeking an ESP Field Technician for the Artificial Lift business of a global oil and gas company in the Dickinson, ND area. Applicants must have previous experience installing, operating, and repairing Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs). Do not apply for this position if you don't have any knowledge of ESPs.
Location: Dickinson, ND
Overtime eligibility: Yes
Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance.
Rotation Eligible: Yes, company will pay for travel back and forth from worker's home at the beginning and end of each rotation.
Schedule: 20 days on, 10 days off rotation schedule.
Compensation: Depends on experience but could be from $23 to $45 per hour
Responsibilities of the ESP Field Technician
- Assemble Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs)
- Operate ESPs at workover rig site
- Maintain and repair ESPs as necessary
Requirements of the ESP Field Technician
- 2+ years of previous ESP experience is required
- Experience repairing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is strongly preferred
- Willingness to work significant overtime (up to 70-80 hours per week)
- Willingness to work rotation schedule (3 weeks on, 1 week off).
- Must pass background, drug, and other fitness tests as required by employer
