POSITION SUMMARY
The Artist Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing Taylor Guitars’ Nashville showroom and serving as the primary brand representative in the city’s influential music community. This role acts as a key liaison between Taylor and a broad network of industry professionals, including artists, producers, session musicians, engineers, and music directors. The Artist Relations Manager fosters meaningful, long-term relationships that support both the artist community and the Taylor brand. In addition to providing day-to-day artist support, the role involves leading showroom activities, coordinating artist engagements, supporting content creation, and driving brand affinity through events and collaborations.

Artist Relations & Showroom Management:
- Cultivates and deepens meaningful relationships with artists, producers, songwriters, engineers, tour and production managers, backline providers, and label partners across a wide range of genres including country, rock, pop, americana, folk, bluegrass, and worship.
- Serves as the primary point of contact and creative liaison for the Taylor Guitars Nashville showroom.
- Schedules and hosts personalized “Find Your Fit” sessions to guide artists in selecting the right guitar for their creative needs—on stage, in studio, or on the road.
- Proactively supports the needs of label teams, management companies, and studios looking to integrate Taylor Guitars into their artist development efforts.
- Develops and tracks opportunities to demonstrate return on investment (ROI) through strategic placements, social media impact, touring visibility, and long-term artist loyalty.
- Ensures the showroom environment remains welcoming, organized, and creatively energizing, while keeping basic upkeep efficient and minimal.
- Oversees accurate inventory tracking and artist loan documentation, ensuring smooth and professional management of guitar placement.
- Coordinates timely delivery, pickup, and shipping of guitars to support sessions, showcases, tours, and industry events.
Content Creation & Event Support:
- Curates compelling photo and video content for use across social platforms.
- Coordinates and executes showroom-based events, pop-ups, and artist showcases.
- Identifies new talent and stays attuned to local events, studio activity, and rehearsals (particularly at Rock Nashville and other area hubs).
- Attends and represents Taylor Guitars at festivals, industry gatherings, trade shows, and award ceremonies as needed.
- Recommends local partnerships and activation opportunities that align with brand goals.
Administrative & Strategic Contributions:
- Maintains detailed contact records and artist engagement notes for internal reporting.
- Prepares and delivers weekly/monthly reports on showroom activity, artist engagements, and brand opportunities.
- Collaborates with the broader marketing team to support artist campaigns and ensure alignment with national brand initiatives.
- Tracks and reports on performance metrics related to artist campaigns and activities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- 5–10 years experience in music industry, artist relations, artist marketing, brand partnerships, tour or production management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Music Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
- Proven experience working with artists in a professional or technical capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with artists or entertainers in a professional capacity.
- Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Passion for the arts, music, or entertainment industries.
- Ability to lift guitars and related gear (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for events.
