Job Posting: Part-Time Arts Administrative Assistant
Role Type: Contract, Part-Time, Remote
Pay: $20 per hour
Time Commitment: ~30 hours per month (5–8 hours/week), flexible schedule
Start Date: Flexible (between June 23 and June 30, 2025)
Position Summary
Thresh is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Arts Administrative Assistant to support its operational and creative expansion. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across departments. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our small team organized and efficient as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage email communications and calendars
- Organize and maintain Google Drive
- Create and manage spreadsheets and contact lists
- Assist with internal communications and project tracking via Monday.com
- Provide general support across departments as needed
- Support hiring processes and onboarding of staff and interns
- Attend regular meetings (weekly virtual and occasional monthly in-person)
Project Management
- Assist with ongoing projects and operational workflows
- Support event planning through outreach and execution
- Coordinate with the Executive Artistic Director on scheduling and logistics
Marketing & Outreach
- Conduct marketing research and gather promotional materials
- Occasionally assist with simple filming and editing tasks
- Organize and distribute images and media from archives
- Support external communications and outreach
Education & Development
- Assist with research and writing for educational initiatives
- Support outreach and documentation for education and development programs
- Expand outreach through spreadsheet management and external contacts
Intern Management
- Oversee intern communication, training, and weekly check-ins
- Track progress via Monday.com and provide feedback reports
- Develop onboarding/offboarding materials and training documentation
- Coordinate intern assignments across departments
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Flexible schedule and responsive communication habits
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in arts administration, nonprofit work, or project coordination preferred
- Proficient in Google Workspace, basic marketing and editing (e.g., Canva), and project management tools (e.g., )
