Kirksville Arts Association is seeking to immediately fill the Arts Administrator position to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week during the day. The position works under the direction of a Board of Directors
The Arts Administrator is responsible for the day to day operation of the association and includes organizing programs including: Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival, Summer on the Square, and rotating exhibits in the Sue Ross Arts Center. Also responsible for coordinating workshops at the arts center.
Candidates must be energetic, people oriented, have a positive attitude, have good organizational skills, have a strong interest in the arts, and be able to present a positive image to the public. Strong computer skills are a must. Candidates should be proficient in Word and Excel. Experience creating graphics is a plus.
A college degree is required preferably in an arts related field. Pay is $18 an hour. Benefits include six paid holidays and one paid leave day per month.
