Job Summary:
We're seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our Asphalt Patch Crew. This position involves repairing and maintaining asphalt surfaces including roads, driveways, parking lots, and more. Candidates must be able to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment and be comfortable operating equipment and working with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform asphalt patching and repairs using various tools and equipment
- Operate rollers, compactors, saws, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Remove damaged asphalt and prep areas for patching
- Shovel, rake, and level asphalt by hand as needed
- Ensure job site cleanliness and safety compliance
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
- Previous asphalt or construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to and from work
