Asphalt Paving Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and experience in the construction industry. This role involves operating various machines, including concrete mixers, excavators, and dump trucks, to ensure efficient project completion on construction sites. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as Asphalt Paver, Rollers, Lutes, Shovel
• Execute forming and finishing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with asphalt, dump trucks.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and procedures is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience in concrete forming, finishing, paving, and rebar installation is highly desirable.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.67 - $27.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
