Assistant Baker/ Delivery Driver - Flour Head Bakery

Assist in the following aspects of work at the bakery:

• Accurately measuring ingredients for recipes
• Shaping and handling different doughs
• Loading and Unloading ovens
• Mixing Breads, Cookies, Pies & Pastries
• Packaging product for sale
• Organizing product by customer, based on invoices
• Delivering bread and pastry to various wholesale customers

Other duties will be assigned as needed and could include cleaning, stocking and moving product around the bakery.

Skills:

• Must have a passion for baking
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must have clean driving record
• Must be able to work 8 - 10 hours on your feet
• Need to be able to lift up to 50 pound bags of flour or bread dough.
• Need to be able to verbally communicate in a clear, respectful and friendly manner to your co-workers and our customers
• Need to be able to work in an efficient and timely manner both in teams and on your own.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be organized and able to work in clean and organized manner
• Must have a keen eye for quality
• Need to be able to lift up to 50 pound bags of flour or bread dough.
• Must be available at 4:30 a.m.
• Must be able to work 8- 10 hour shifts on your feet
• Must have weekend availability
• Must be willing to work hard with a positive attitude
• Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Must be able to drive delivery van and small box truck
