The Assistant Branch Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager by ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the branch. The Assistant Branch Manager will lead and motivate the team, oversee banking services, and ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures to deliver exceptional customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years of retail banking experience, preferably as a head teller or in a leadership role.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to supervise and cross-sell services effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Assist the Branch Manager in efforts to reach profit, performance, and customer service goals by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Oversee banking services, especially customer service, to ensure excellence; assist customers and prospective customers as needed.
- Coordinate communication with branch staff to facilitate smooth operations and effective teamwork.
- Work to meet branch performance standards while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
- Manage branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager, ensuring continuity and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Retail Banking, contributing to the overall success of the branch.
