Chevy Chase Club is seeking a dedicated, polished, and service-oriented Assistant Fitness Director to support our commitment to excellence in member wellness. About the Role:
As Assistant Fitness Director, you?ll partner closely with the Director of Fitness & Wellness to oversee the daily operations of the Fitness Center. You?ll lead a team of Personal Trainers, collaborate across departments to develop innovative programming, and ensure the highest level of service and professionalism in every interaction. This role is ideal for someone with a true passion for hospitality and fitness, who takes pride in anticipating member needs and exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, schedule, and support the Personal Training team to deliver personalized, results-driven service
- Provide up to 10 personal training sessions per week and host seminars or specialty classes to enrich the member experience
- Partner with fellow Club departments?Golf, Tennis, Aquatics, and more?to develop engaging wellness and sports programming
- Ensure the fitness facility is immaculate, well-equipped, and welcoming at all times
- Assist with budgeting, payroll, billing, and day-to-day operational excellence
- Uphold Club policies and safety standards while maintaining a culture of warmth and professionalism

- Passionate about fitness and enhancing the lives of others
Qualifications:
- Bachelor?s degree in a related field required
- Current Personal Training Certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, etc.)
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications required
- Minimum 5 years of personal training and at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Preferred: Additional specialty certifications (CSCS, TPI, RacquetFit)
Compensation & Club Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $18 ? $48.20/hr (commensurate with experience)
- Weekly Pay

Schedule:
- 40 hours/week. Flexibility to support evenings and weekends as needed to meet member demand.
