Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Montessori Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Montessori Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Help with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and bathroom breaks
- Support students with special needs, including working with children on the autism spectrum
- Collaborate with the lead teacher in behavior management strategies
- Assist in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about student progress
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:
-Must be 21 years of age
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred
-pervious experience in a montessori teaching environment preferred, but not required
-willing to get a Montessori teaching assistant certifiation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
