Location\: Frimley; Surrey. Approximately once per month onsite in Frimley with quarterly travel to London when required. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Job Description\:
We are looking for an Assistant Trustee Secretary to join our Trustee & Member Services team. Working closely with the Scheme Secretary, Trustees, advisers and service providers, you will support a range of governance activities and help ensure the effective operation of Trustee Boards and committees. This is a varied role that offers exposure to a broad range of pensions and governance activities.
Core duties\:
- Coordinate and facilitate Trustee Board, Sub-Committee and Joint Working Group meetings, including logistics, meeting documentation and stakeholder liaison
- Prepare, compile and distribute Trustee meeting papers and governance documentation
- Attend Trustee meetings, produce high-quality minutes and manage the review and approval process
- Monitor, track and report on governance actions to ensure timely completion
- Maintain Trustee governance records, including training plans and logs, and coordinate training with external providers as required
Essential Skills\:
- Knowledge of UK occupational pension schemes and pension scheme governance, with experience within a pensions environment
- Experience in minute-taking and governance administration within a regulated environment
- Ability to build effective working relationships and engage confidently with a range of stakeholders
The Trustee & Member Services Team\:
You will join our Trustee & Member Services team, reporting to the Scheme Secretary and working alongside colleagues across the pensions function, Trustees, advisers and service providers. The team supports the governance of pension arrangements and the effective operation of Trustee Boards and committees. The role offers variety and responsibility, with exposure to a wide range of pensions and governance activities while working with experienced professionals.
