General Position Description
This position supports the Dean, Nursing in the enhancement of teaching practices and curriculum within Clinical Education, with oversight of clinical and simulation-based learning experiences. Analyzes learning outcomes results and student success data, and addresses faculty and student-related concerns in clinical and simulation environments. Serves as a member of the School’s academic leadership team, partnering with the Dean to provide discipline-specific onboarding, observe performance, deliver feedback, and support professional growth for full- and part-time clinical faculty. Collaborates on faculty hiring, course assignments, and programmatic goals, ensuring alignment with the college’s strategic plan. Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and engages with industry and/or transfer partners to foster student success within various clinical and simulation settings, building and maintaining partnerships with clinical agencies and industry stakeholders to expand experiential learning opportunities in alignment with the college’s strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications
Required Minimum Education
Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.

Other Required Qualifications
Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership or academic administration or related experience based on the essential job functions.
Required License/Certification
Registered Nurse License (RN)
Preferred Qualifications

Higher Education Leadership/Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Type of Experience

General Working Conditions
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
