Overview:
DINO BARS is a brand of the Functional Food Company, a family-owned and managed by Jessica Saultz. Jessi and Ian founded DINO BARS on their belief in the positive effects of eating healthy, and want to provide like-minded parents with healthy and on the go snack options for their kids.
DINO BARS obsesses over the belief that starting your kids young on a wholesome diet leads to value creation for our customers.
This position will report directly to the Sr. Associate and is responsible for supporting the production process.
Day to day, this position is executing objectives with regard to the DINO BARS way in a timely manner with accuracy, accountability, and a high regard to hygiene food production standards . This position will play a key role in ensuring that the DINO BARS are being produced to the high standards that our customers expect. To be successful in this role, you need to be eager to learn, adapt to new processes and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Producing and package products in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) to maintain product quality
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to fabricate and package items efficiently
- Operate in a warehouse setting, utilizing forklifts and logic controllers as needed
- Adhere to FDA regulations regarding product packaging
- Use hand tools to assist in packaging tasks
Qualifications:
- Be aligned with DINO BARS core values as well as future growth objectives
- Previous experience in packaging, assembly, or related field is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Ability to facilitate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in parallel.
- Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise as seen fit by Manager or Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to drive improvement, preferably from an analytical mindset.
- Proficient in all forms of business communication (email, phone, Google Suite, etc.)
- Team player with a positive attitude, initiative, growth mindset and solution oriented.
- Occasional lifting requirements of 60 lbs
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment
- Knowledge of logic controllers and mechanical systems is a plus
- Understanding of FDA regulations for packaging processes is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for packaging tasks

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
