Associate Property Manager, 8500 Burton Way

The Associate Property Manager will oversee day to day operations at Los Angeles’ premier luxury residential property, 8500 Burton, ensuring the Caruso standards are upheld at all times. Key areas of oversight include maintaining occupancy goals through resident retention efforts, managing Concierge towards best-in-class resident service levels, and optimizing performance in all areas (Parking, Security, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Landscaping). Reporting directly to the Property Manager, the Associate Property Manager will manage property operations with efficiency, professionalism, and sound business decisions. This individual will have a broad base of knowledge in a wide variety of areas, and must embody the Caruso Service Brand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for achieving the property income and occupancy goals
• Financial responsibilities, including accounts payable oversight and approval, budgeting, financial reporting, expense management, rent collection
• Assist with vendor management and relations (parking security, housekeeping, landscaping)
• Respond to inbound leasing inquiries in a timely manner and manage marketing/ad efforts
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect the property regularly
• General oversight of resident experience including move-in and move-out; provide best-in- class service to residents with a focus on innovation
• Develop rapport with residents, work to resolve any concerns in a timely, attentive manner
• Maintain awareness of market trends, competition, and best practices
• Assist with planning of resident events and projects
• Manage, coach, and inspire direct reports to achieve daily tasks and goals

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a luxury hospitality setting
• Positive, proactive work ethic and approach
• Excellent customer service skills and passionate about providing exceptional service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with initiative, team spirit and positive outlook
• Ability to multi-task & prioritize workload
• Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Possess the ability to be creative, flexible and think “outside the box”
