Job Description:
The Brown Athletics Administrative Intern is a part-time, seasonal/intermittent role. The position will provide general administrative support to the Executive Operations team during summer months.
Duties include assisting the Athletics Chief of Staff with project planning for the upcoming academic year, communications and marketing support, and assisting our facilities and operations/recreation team members with logistical/space tasks.
Major Tasks
- Assist Division units with daily administrative tasks.
- Assist Division units with summer work in preparation for the Fall semester.
- Assist Division units with special projects.
Job Qualifications
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral communication and computer skills needed.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft office suite, email, and Internet use.
- Willingness to learn.
- Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the compliance office and appropriate parties. Employees in coaching positions must receive annual rules education on NCAA legislation related to recruiting by the compliance office and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division).
