Enforce Traffic & Parking regulations on campus. Remain highly visible to screen traffic entering campus and assist visitors, patients, students and staff as required. Maintain traffic flow
Assist in arranging parking reservations per departmental requests via WebTMA. Direct traffic during events
Must have and maintain valid State of Texas Driver's License and be listed as an approved driver as determined by Risk Management and insurance carrier
Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position
Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.). Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

Required Qualifications
Ability to read and write equivalent to completion of the 10th grade plus one year experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to learn the Texas Tech University Traffic and Parking rules and regulations
Ability to learn location of buildings and clinics on campus
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Capable of making decisions on the spot
Skills in courteously, effectively and tactfully in assisting employees, students and visitors
Conduct parking lot checks on foot and/or while driving a state vehicle such as a golf cart
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Prior experience in security is a plus, but not essential
