- Supervising and Reviewing audit engagement procedures performed by the audit team in a timely and professional manner
- Performing detailed audit procedures over various income statement and balance sheet accounts when necessary Demonstrating your ability to recognize problems and propose sensible solutions, with an appropriate balance between client needs and the firm’s risk
- Understanding client service relationships and how to utilize firm resources to provide unmatched client service to existing clients
- Coordinating with Group auditors, including delivering effective communication with them
- Participating in board and audit committee meetings presentations Using technology tools proficiently in regular assignments and demonstrating a commitment to improving work processes by using technology
- Meeting assigned deadlines or budgets and provide advance warning of any variances
- Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
- Building personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunities
- Traveling to serve large international clients as necessary
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Advanced analytical and reasoning skills to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial information with IFRS and U.S. GAAP
- Strong expertise in International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Component auditor experience, assessing subsidiaries or divisions to support consolidated audit opinions
- Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goals
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and experience levels both verbally and in writing
- Ability to maintain professional client relationships
- A desire to provide mentorship and training to other professionals
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant audit experience
- CPA license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.New York Salary Range: NY Minimum Salary (USD) $ 90,200 NY Maximum Salary (USD) $ 154,500
