Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques including MIG welding, fabrication, and auto painting. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools and power tools to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and paint refinishing.
- Utilize MIG welding techniques for metal repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks, including detailing and assembly of vehicle components.
- Execute auto glass replacement and repair as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Prepare accurate auto estimates for repairs based on damage assessments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components during the repair process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive repair techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role is preferred; dealership experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, soldering, and sheet metal work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with auto restoration processes is advantageous.
- Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients throughout the repair process.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
