Job Summary
Kozak Auto Group is a family owned and operated group of independent auto repair shops. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. This role involves managing service appointments, advising customers on vehicle maintenance and repairs, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the service department.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of auto estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in auto repair shop service advisor position is preferred.
- Experience with service writing, auto estimating, and upselling services.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician is a plus.
- Familiarity with various automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, alignment, suspension, tire service, engine repair, shocks & struts, oil changes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Proficient in cash handling and sales processes within an automotive context.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
