Make Ready Technician – Auto Detailer

Job Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean vehicles prior to final customer delivery, including washing, buffing, vacuuming, and minor paint touch-ups.
- Apply protective and restorative treatments to enhance and maintain vehicle appearance.
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections and maintain accurate condition records.
- Identify and complete minor repairs effectively to minimize delays.
- Manage and inventory all make-ready supplies.
- Liaise between the service/detailing team and Sales Managers for timely processing of new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Provide detailing support for client vehicles as needed.
- Ensure all dealership policies for vehicle care and operation are strictly followed.
- Report and document vehicle damage for service claims within 24 hours.
- Conduct quality control inspections before vehicles move to the sales front line.
- Coordinate with Sales and Service to meet delivery schedules.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to team performance.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, kneeling, or crouching.
- Must have good vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
