Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass components, ensuring that vehicles are safe and compliant with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace automotive glass including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks with precision.
- Conduct thorough inspections of glass components to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Perform window tinting as needed, adhering to legal regulations and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and determine the best course of action for repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) related to automotive glass.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or related fields.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to automotive glass work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes to provide accurate assessments of repair needs.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure high-quality workmanship on every job.
- Knowledge of window tinting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Understanding of ADAS technology is preferred but can be learned on the job.
- Clean driving record

Pay: $20.00 - $25.48 per hour
