Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their automotive needs are met. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair, along with excellent communication and sales skills to effectively guide customers through their service options.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services offered, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs or services.
- Prepare accurate estimates for services and repairs, ensuring transparency with customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive products, services, and industry trends to better assist customers.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
- Manage customer records and service history accurately in the system.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive service advising or a related role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Sales experience is a plus; ability to upsell services based on customer needs.
- Proficiency in using automotive software systems for scheduling and record keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair or service are advantageous.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
