We have an immediate opening for an experienced Service Manager for a high-volume location in the Independence area.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage vehicle service queue
- Provide service quotes to customers
- Assign/monitor workload of mechanics and technicians
- Oversee purchase/transfer of outside items
- Serve as liaison between customer and mechanics/technicians
- Perform duties of other shop personnel, including mechanics and technicians, as necessary
- Carefully inspect vehicles being serviced; notify salesperson if any additional services/products are needed
- Perform regular maintenance of equipment as directed
- Operate the machines and tools related to job responsibilities
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in auto repair required
- ASE certification preferred
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to explain complex repairs in layman’s terms
- Able to work well with the other Service Managers and employees
Compensation and Benefits
- $45,000-$80,000 per year, including performance incentives
- Ongoing training/education
