Lakeway Auto continues to grow and EXPAND!
Due to now have two locations for Service and Reconditioning we have a rare opening for a Manager to oversee all things retail, parts and reconditioning.
We currently have an excellent technician roster. Utilize Dealer Track, Rapid Recon and more.
In the past our main focus has been recon for our inventory to "front line" vehicles as fast as possible with high quality while also offering retail and service contract service. With this expansion we are focused on the same but adding customer/vin retention to strengthen the brand and sell more vehicles and service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement and inventory of automotive parts, ensuring availability for repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee sourcing strategies to secure high-quality OEM parts at competitive prices.
- Utilize an order management system to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Coordinate logistics for timely delivery of parts to service departments or customers.
- Collaborate with technicians to understand parts needs for equipment repair and automotive diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to parts sales and inventory management.
- Develop relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
- Train and supervise staff within the parts department, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Implement best practices in procurement management to optimize efficiency.
- Develope and maintain a retail customer service approach and the KPI's met of full parts and service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Service & Parts Manager role or similar position within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of OEM parts, sourcing, logistics, and order management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory levels.
- Ability to fabricate solutions as needed for unique customer requests or challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Proficient in using computer systems related to inventory management and procurement.
- Rapid Recon experience preffered
- Dealer Track experience preffered

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $1,250,000.00 per year
