Gigi’s Cupcakes is hiring a full time baker!
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of cupcakes, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Decorate cupcakes and other goodies with creativity and attention to detail.
- Package finished products for sale, ensuring they are presented attractively and securely.
- Assist in food production and preparation tasks as needed, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred.
- Strong baking skills with a focus on cupcake decorating techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in food preparation and handling within a kitchen environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
