We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bagel Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining an organized kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bagels, pastries, muffins
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Utilize proper techniques for food preparation, including mixing, kneading, and decorating baked goods.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
- Ensure all baked goods are packaged appropriately for display or delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a culinary or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment including ovens, mixers, and knives.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required.
