We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee our bakery operations. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bakery operations, including production schedules and staffing.
- Oversee inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and market the bakery’s offerings effectively.
- Conduct employee orientation and training development programs to enhance team performance.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bakery environment.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and team-building activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a bakery or food service environment.
- Experience baking bread, cakes, and other fresh items.
- Strong skills in inventory control, budgeting, and organizational management.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and market trends in the bakery industry.
- Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions and vendor communications.
- Ability to train staff effectively while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
