Job description:
Hiring a part or full-time position for a NEW high-end retail bakery and cafe. We are in search of a Bakers who have a proven track record in a retail/commercial/wholesale industry setting. You must have a passion for baking, and sharp eye for quality.
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Experience in Bread Production preferred but not required
- Preferred experience with naturally fermented leavened breads but not required
- Direct daily bread, viennoiserie, and other pastry product preparation by following recipes provided.
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be able to prioritize.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, paying attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task.
- Tracking daily production input and output. Record daily waste, inventory, and product shortages. Inform store GM when inventory is low.
- Upkeep cleanliness standards and keep organized workstations
- Follow opening and closing procedures.
- Being on time for all scheduled shifts and adhering to all company policies and guidelines.
- Quality check. Monitor and maintain proper food presentation, food quality, serving temperatures.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in bakery/pastry environment preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays to meet company demands.
- Eligible to work in the United States and is 18 years of age or older.
- Professional culinary pastry education a plus but not required
