You'll be at the forefront of delivering top-notch customer service to our guests in our recently revamped restaurant. Our servers also have the opportunity to showcase their skills at various special events, catering functions, and conferences within the hotel. Whether it's a bustling brunch service or a glamorous gala, you'll be right in the heart of the action, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.
This position operates as needed, with hours varying depending on upcoming events and guest bookings. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and passionate about guest service.

Essential Job Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival at event spaces
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and serviceware
- Serve food and beverages efficiently during events, including presenting menus, explaining options, suggesting pairings, and referencing the buffet and drink options.
- Record orders accurately, noting any dietary restrictions or special requests, and communicate with kitchen/bar staff
- Replenish and reset tables between courses or after events, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
- Replenish buffet items as needed
- Respond promptly to guest needs, addressing spills, additional service requests, or other concerns
- Assist with pre-event preparations, including polishing silverware, glasses, and utensils, and setting up stations
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies at all times
- Support team efforts to ensure smooth event operations and guest satisfaction
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and guest service skills

Experience/Education Preferred
- Must be 18 years old
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of serving/bartending experience
- R.A.S.S. Certificate
- ServSafe Certificate
