Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of our bar operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, have a strong background in hospitality management, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining par levels
- Develop and maintain a creative and innovative cocktail menu that reflects current trends and guest preferences
- Train, mentor, and motivate bar staff to ensure exceptional service standards are met
- Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and storage areas
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to continuously improve the bar's offerings and operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation techniques
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems and other bar-related software
