Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Participate in banquet service and catering events as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling.
Skills
- Previous fine dining experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and food service operations.
- Familiarity with banquet service and catering processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of dietary aide practices and food safety standards.
- Background in the food industry or restaurant experience is beneficial.
- Barista experience is an asset for establishments offering coffee services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.90 - $23.96 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
