We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in our café, crafting high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to excellence will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS if applicable.
- Assist with food preparation and service as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist in restocking as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to create a friendly and efficient work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques or a strong desire to learn about coffee is highly desirable.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus; knowledge of Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
