Location: 134 N Oak Park Ave, Oak Park, IL 60301. Training will be at 2302 S Harlem Ave, North Riverside, IL 60546.
Morning shift: 7am to 5pm (week days)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barista to join our team. Part time (7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday). As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our customers while ensuring the highest quality of our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee and bubble tea drinks in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a helpful and professional manner
- Work effectively with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Participate in sales and promotions to drive business growth and increase customer engagement
- Keep up-to-date with new products and promotions and make recommendations to customers
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation practices
- Friendly and helpful demeanor
- Strong communication and sales skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Knowledge of the food industry and its trends
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
