1 Barista: Weekdays
We are looking for someone who can work Wednesday-Friday in the late morning to afternoons. This job can range from 10 hours to more a week depending on scheduling needs and your availability. This job is primarily for mid-day.
This is NOT Summer job.
We need someone who can work well with a team and has great customer service skills! Don’t worry we can train you on the coffee!
This is not your regular type of work experience. Our owners are focused on a positive atmosphere with great incentives and benefits! Requesting time off is NEVER an issue.
Who are we?!
We’re a Veteran-owned coffee shop in Apex and we’re looking for people who want to serve the community as coffee shop baristas.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
- Observe relevant health and safety standards
- Qualifications for Barista
- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred, but don't stress, we can teach you!
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to problem solve quickly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
Pay: $8 - $10 per hour (Plus Tips)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Ages 15 and up (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKDAY MORNINGS OR AFTERNOONS)
- Current food safety certification (Not Required)
