Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that their orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, handling transactions and managing cash flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations while preparing food items or beverages.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Stay informed about new products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided for all staff members.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $25.03 - $27.98 per hour
