Your Role As a Pet Sitter & Dog Walker, you will:
- Care for dogs, cats, and small animals in the comfort of their homes
- Walk dogs according to each client’s schedule and preferences
- Provide meals, fresh water, medication (when needed), and enrichment activities
- Take care of cleaning tasks, such as waste pick-up and litter box maintenance
- Monitor pets’ health and behavior, promptly reporting any concerns
- Communicate with clients using our pet sitting app, sharing updates and adorable photos after each visit
- Always prioritize the safety, well-being, and happiness of every pet
Key Responsibilities
- Walk dogs individually or in small groups with safety as the top priority
- Follow detailed care instructions provided by pet owners
- Administer medications and adhere to special diets as required
- Offer companionship, playtime, and lots of affection to all pets
- Handle light household tasks (like collecting mail and watering plants) as needed
- Use our Time To Pet app to record visits, check in and out, and keep clients updated
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with animals (personal or professional)
- True passion for pets of all kinds
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels
- Dependable, trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to complete a background check as part of our hiring process
